The Info-communication Media Development Authority (IMDA) has implemented the nationwide e-invoicing network, now called InvoiceNow, to help businesses improve efficiency, reduce cost, enjoy faster payment cycles, access to new financing options and build a strong foundation for digitalisation.
As part of this initiative, IMDA has appointed SGNIC as the Service Metadata Publisher (SMP) provider. SMP serves as an address book for all businesses who register to receive e-invoices. The SMP can be found at https://www.peppolsmp.sg.
Businesses can search for other businesses on InvoiceNow through the SG Peppol Directory which can be found at https://www.peppoldirectory.sg. This site provides online search capabilities, batch checking of businesses and API access for businesses who wishes to automate their process.
