eolThe Singapore Network Information Centre (SGNIC) and the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) have signed an Exchange of Letters (EoL).The signing was held on 28th October 2009 in Seoul, in conjunction with the 36th ICANN Public Meeting held there. 
 
ICANN is a not-for-profit public-benefit corporation with participants from all over the world dedicated to keeping the Internet secure, stable and interoperable. 
 
With the EoL, both parties endeavour to ensure that the Domain Name System and the Authoritative Root Server System are operated in a stable, secure and reliable manner. 
 
SGNIC is committed to providing Internet registry and information services in an efficient, effective and responsible manner, so as to ensure the smooth running of the Internet in Singapore and is pleased to be able to work with ICANN.
