Please be aware of scam emails impersonating SGNIC requesting you to click on a link, provide personal information, or make payments. Do remain vigilant and note the following:

  1. SGNIC will never request for payment from you for any domain name-related transactions. 
  2. Any renewal notice for your domain name registration will come from your domain name registrar or service provider whom you registered the domain name with. 
  3. You can use the WHOIS function at the top-right corner of this website to check on the status of your domain name.
  4. If further clarifications are needed, please check with your domain name registrar, service provider, or SGNIC. 
SMS Sender ID Registry (SSIR) Scam Alert & Advisory:

Please be aware of scam emails impersonating SGNIC requesting you to click on a link to make payments. Do remain vigilant and note the following:
 
  1. SGNIC emails will not contain any link to make payment. 
  2. Payment for the SSIR account set-up fee and annual Sender ID (SID) listing fee is processed via the SSIR Portal (https://smsregistry.sg/web/login).
  3. Please verify that you are accessing the official SSIR Portal URL before entering your login credentials or payment information.
  4. Do not access the SSIR Portal from unverified sources or websites with suspicious domain names.
